In 2025, LION is piloting a new Train the Trainers program in Canada. The Fall session is geared toward publishers and staff in leadership positions at independent publications.
The program will include interactive training sessions on topics like revenue strategies, audience development, and operational resilience. Participants will also gain insights into navigating Canada’s unique ecosystem, including regulatory frameworks, and funding opportunities.
In addition to honing practical skills, this training will empower publishers and newsroom leaders to lead conversations about growth opportunities in their own organizations. Participants will leave the program equipped with actionable strategies and the tools to inspire confidence and meaningful change.
